Story Requirements
Requirements for submitting stories:
1) Each team should submit their Story #1 Final Edit by Sunday February 17th @ 12pm. Your final edit should contain at least one interview & b-roll, and should run no longer than 3:30. More than one interview is acceptable. Simply submit the YouTube URL with your reflections using your personalized Google Doc link.
2) Email Amy, Carson, and Jackie these deliverables:

- NOTE: Link to Final Presentation Video via file sharing (Box, Dropbox, ShareFile, etc.)
- YouTube/Vimeo link (one per group for Story 1 and Story 2, one per student for Final Presentation) - Signed consent form(s) - Production schedule (one per group for Story 1 and Story 2, one per student for Final Presentation) - Final script (one per group for Story 1 and Story 2, one per student for Final Presentation), here's an example. |
3) Each group brings their final piece to class on an external hard drive the day it is due.
4) Each student should print the AMP self-and peer-evaluations PDF and bring the completed form to class.

GRADING
Grading: Stories will be evaluated based upon the Story Evaluation.
Lower Thirds: Identify people in your story (if enough screen time) by first/last name and company/organization. Music suggestions: This American Life uses music from Poddington Bear. It's free for non-commercial use. Browse the collection. |
Script Format Example: Use this example to format your script (soundbites, b-roll, nat sound, etc.). Note this story has track (narration) which yours may/may not have. Check out how the script evolved into the final video.
