Assignments
• Professors will email class with assigned teams and roles for Story #2.
• Story #2 will consist of multiple interviews and b-roll (TRT: under 3:30).
• Each student comes prepared to pitch one story idea next week (10/17).
• Write Pitch #2:
You will pitch this story in class next week. Write your pitch according to these guidelines:
Title: The title of your pitch should read: “Pitch: ____” where “___” is the several word headline for your pitch. It should grab the class' attention!
Length: A few paragraphs. Keep it pithy and on point. Show that you’ve done your research by writing in some choice specifics.
Arc: In addition, explain what your story arc will be, who you’ll interview, what scenes you want to capture. Give the class an idea about how you envision the story playing out.
Please note: Do not pitch a story unless you have contacted the subjects and confirmed their interest in participating.

• Reflections: Students should write reflections on readings and viewings and submit reflections using the form below by 12pm Sunday, October 15th.
REMINDER: 25% of your final grade will be based on class participation and reflection papers. See Reflection Papers under grading on the overview page for an exposition of this assignment.
